FMLA Policy Update Effective January 1, 2021 

On January 1, 2021 ISU’s method for calculating the 12-month FMLA period changed from a calendar year period to a “rolling” 12-month period measured backward from the date of an employee’s first use of FMLA leave for a qualifying event.
