Project Team Information

Core Team 

The overall responsibility of the core team is to lead and guide the development of the compensation and classification project by providing functional expertise in the areas of classification, compensation, and human resources. The core team is being asked to:

  • Work closely with Aon Consulting to deliver on project outcomes
  • Provide expert guidance on job evaluation, job development, market benchmarks, and salary structure 
  • Work to develop job leveling and titling parameters 
  • Provide expert guidance on alignment of ISU jobs to external market 
  • Execute according to the overall project plan 
  • Work with university stakeholders to deliver on project goals 
  • Advocate for the project on campus
  • Maintain confidentiality 

 
The core project team is comprised of the following individuals:

Extended Project Team 

The overall responsibility of the extended project team is to support the development of the compensation and classification project by providing institutional knowledge and an ability to work across colleges and departments. The 13 member extended project team is being asked to provide input and feedback to the project in order to help facilitate successful team interaction and outcomes. Specifically, the extended project team is being asked to:

  • Assist in delivering on project outcomes 
  • Provide credible, realistic, best practices oriented input on job evaluation and development
  • Review job leveling and titling parameters during development 
  • Provide input during the job leveling process
  • Provide input on alignment of ISU jobs to external market
  • Field and direct employees to the project website or UHRCC as questions arise
  • Advocate for the project on campus 
  • Maintain confidentiality

Communications Advisory Team

The Communications Advisory Team supports the development and dissemination of communications for the project. This team provides insight and feedback on how to effectively communicate to P&S employees and their supervisors.
